Pakistan’s fintech sector is hiring again—especially for engineering, product, and operations interns who can ship real work on open banking, payments, and portal products. If you are searching for a fintech internship in Islamabad (or remote-friendly hybrid roles), the fastest path is to apply directly through our live listings rather than sending a generic CV to a shared inbox.
1. Start with live internship openings
All current internship tracks are published on our dedicated page: Fintech Internship. Each card shows the track title, duration, location, and a direct apply link. You can also browse everything from Careers, which lists both internships and full-time roles in one place.
If you are comparing internship vs full-time, see Fintech Jobs for open permanent positions. Only apply to tracks that match your skills—duplicate applications to every listing slow down review.
2. Use the FintechPaa student portal
Applications are submitted through the FintechPaa registration portal. When you click Apply now on a specific internship card, the portal opens with that track pre-selected (?internship= in the URL). If you land on the portal without a parameter, choose your program from the dropdown first—the wizard saves your draft as you go.
You will complete:
- Identity & contact — legal name, email, phone, university.
- Program details — degree, expected graduation, relevant coursework or projects.
- Documents — CV/resume (PDF), optional cover note, and any track-specific uploads.
- Survey — short questions about motivation, availability, and technical background.
Drafts are saved automatically. You can return later to finish—use the same email and device if possible so your progress is restored.
3. What we look for
Internship cohorts are small; we prioritise applicants who show curiosity about financial technology and can demonstrate execution—not just grades. Strong signals include:
- A GitHub or portfolio link with at least one completed project (API integration, web app, data script, or mobile prototype).
- Clear writing in the survey answers—explain why fintech and what you want to learn.
- Realistic availability (typically 3–6 months, Islamabad hybrid with remote-friendly options where the track allows).
Prior fintech experience is helpful but not required. Many successful interns come from computer science, software engineering, business, or finance programs at Pakistani universities.
4. After you submit
You receive an on-screen confirmation when the application is complete. Our team reviews submissions in batches—usually within one to two weeks during active hiring windows. Shortlisted candidates are contacted by email for a short video or in-person conversation. We do not charge application fees; the only official apply path is /portal/register.
Questions before applying? Email careers@fintechpaa.com with “Internship” in the subject line, or use our contact form.
5. Not ready to intern yet?
If you are still building fundamentals, explore FintechPaa trainings and our career roadmap from training to job guide. When you are ready, return to live internship openings and apply through the portal.
