Payroll Fintech & Earned Wage Access Pakistan — Frequently Asked Questions

Earned Wage Access (EWA) lets employees access a portion of their earned salary before payday — without it being a loan. In Pakistan, EWA products are emerging through fintech-employer partnerships, using RAAST for instant disbursement. Our course covers EWA product design, employer integration architecture, and regulatory considerations under SBP's digital lending guidelines.

RAAST is SBP's real-time instant payment rail. Employers and fintechs can use RAAST's bulk disbursement API to credit employee salaries instantly to any bank account or digital wallet in Pakistan. Our payroll fintech course covers RAAST API integration, bulk payment file formats, reconciliation, and error-handling for payroll use cases.

Payroll-linked fintechs in Pakistan must comply with SBP's Payment Systems Regulations, digital lending guidelines, and data privacy requirements. If you hold funds before disbursement you may also need an EMI or PSP licence. Our course covers the full SBP regulatory landscape for payroll fintech, including licence thresholds and compliance obligations.

Yes — salary advance apps are a growing category in Pakistani fintech. You need employer partnerships for salary data access, a credit or lending licence from SECP or SBP depending on your model, and RAAST connectivity for disbursement. FintechPaa's payroll fintech course covers the full technology and regulatory stack for building salary advance products in Pakistan.
